⚒ The Fine Art of Traditional Trades – Design Week Panel Discussion ⚒

The grand Parisian cathedral of Notre Dame is rising from the ashes. Eight-hundred year-old woodwork practices are being revived to help in the rebuild. Closer to home, many of our heritage buildings also require traditional materials and techniques to survive.

Held at the iconic Como House, the panel will explore the art and value of the traditional skills and trades required to care for and maintain our heritage buildings, as well as their relevance to new construction.

The panel will also look at how we ensure this knowledge and skills are being transferred to a new generation of tradespeople and design professionals.
