Transitioning to the HCV Hub

Please note that all Heritage Council regulatory matters will transition to using the HCV Hub over the next few months.

Matters currently underway

The majority of regulatory matters already underway prior to 12 September 2022 will continue to use email and OneDrive for the receipt and circulation of material. Where a matter continues over OneDrive, MS Word/Pdf versions of forms etc. will be provided directly to interested parties and hearing participants throughout this period of transition.

During the transition period, if you are unsure if your relevant matter is proceeding via the HCV Hub, please contact the Heritage Council via email at heritage.council@delwp.vic.gov.au

New regulatory processes

New processes triggered or commenced on or after 12 September 2022 will be required to use the HCV Hub for the lodgment and circulation of forms, submissions, and evidence.

PLEASE NOTE: As of September 2022, Heritage Council Forms I and J in relation to Archaeological Value recommendations and hearings are yet to transition to the HCV Hub and are still required to be lodged using the MS Word/pdf forms. It is anticipated that these forms will transition to the HCV Hub in 2023. For access to these forms, please contact the Heritage Council Secretariat.

Participating in Hearings and Reviews via the HCV Hub

The HCV Hub provides relevant parties with access to all material for a hearing and review matter, as well as up-to-date information on the progress of the matter.

Via the HCV Hub, participants can:

  • Inform the Heritage Council how they intend to participate in the hearing or review and provide the details of any expert witnesses
  • Lodge submissions and submissions in reply
  • Request the Heritage Council adjourn a scheduled hearing date
