Local Government Heritage Forum 2024

The Heritage Council of Victoria invites local government strategic and statutory planners and heritage officers, and current local government heritage advisors to its Local Government Heritage Forum.

Hear from experts and colleagues on heritage issues and learn about ways to help communities protect and celebrate their heritage. There will be presentations on new initiatives and models for best practice to ensure the successful management of local heritage across the state. The Forum also provides an opportunity for sharing information, networking with colleagues and professional development for local government staff and heritage advisors.

The Forum is an all-day, in-person–only event. Bookings are essential and numbers are restricted.

LOCATION: Museum Theatre, Melbourne Museum, 11 Nicholson Street, Carlton

Attendance from each Council is limited to a maximum of four officers (if your heritage advisor is attending they should be included in this maximum).
