The Heritage Council of Victoria is thrilled to feature the extraordinary work of architect Kerstin Thompson in the latest of the Modern Melbourne film series, showing at ACMI this July.
Kerstin Thompson, this year’s recipient of the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects’ Gold Medal and one of Australia’s most influential architects, explores how architecture can respond with great care to local conditions in ways that positively shape our lives and communities.
Modern Melbourne documents the extraordinary practice of our most important architects and designers and the impact their work has had on Melbourne.
