The 2023 Heritage Trades Show
As part of the 2023 Heritage Festival in Victoria, the Heritage Council recently sponsored the National Trust inaugural Heritage Trades Show at heritage property, Labassa.
A wide variety of visitors including trade specialists, property owners, students and interested passers-by, were all keen to learn about traditional trades and materials.
Heritage Council Member, Jeff Robinson, moderated a panel event on the topic of Heritage and Climate Change, discussing management of the impacts of climate change on heritage places, the future of heritage protection, and how the industry can ensure that conservation skills are valued and sustained into the future.
