The Heritage Address 2024 presents John Gollings in Conversation
Join the Heritage Council of Victoria as we present the final event for the Open House Melbourne July 2024 weekend. Listen to one of Australia’s most influential architectural photographers, John Gollings, in conversation, telling the tales of his 50 (or more) years photographing building wonders around the world.
From architecture to advertising and back again, John became the ‘go-to guy’ for his architectural contemporaries and has since photographed some of our most iconic buildings. His remarkable body of work offers a visual history of the buildings and places that have shaped our city and many others.
Hear John as he reflects on his life in pictures, from a young boy with a Box Brownie camera to the Venice Biennale. There will be many pictures to share!
