The discussion focused on the Victorian Heritage Register’s 50 years of heritage protection, acknowledging places included in the Register that had been adaptively reused. It explored how this approach fostered positive social impacts, boosted economic outcomes, and promoted sustainability.

The panel included architect and certified Passive House designer, Tina Tam, Working Heritage governance committee member Joan Ko, and renowned architect, Peter Elliott.
