Fairfield Park Amphitheatre Complex

After considering the Executive Director’s recommendation and all submissions received, and after conducting a hearing into the matter, the Heritage Council has determined, pursuant to section 49(1)(a) of the Heritage Act 2017, that the Fairfield Park Amphitheatre Complex, located at 3 Fairfield Park Road, Fairfield is of State-level cultural heritage significance and is to be included in the Victorian Heritage Register.

Queens Parade Shopping Precinct

After considering the Executive Director’s recommendation and all submissions received, and after conducting a hearing into the matter, together with an inspection of the Place, the Heritage Council has determined, pursuant to section 49(1)(b) of the Heritage Act 2017, that the Queens Parade Shopping Precinct, located at 270–410 Queens Parade, Fitzroy North (including Lot 2 Barruth Lane) and 87–197 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill, City of Yarra, is not of State-level cultural heritage significance and is not to be included in the Victorian Heritage Register.

Pompei’s Marine Boat Works and Landing, Mordialloc

 After considering the Executive Director’s recommendation, all submissions and conducting a hearing into the submissions, the Heritage Council has determined pursuant to section 49(1)(c)(i) of the Heritage Act 2017 that Pompei’s Marine Boat Works and Landing at 557-561 Main Road, Mordialloc and nearby lands adjoining Mordialloc Creek is not to be included in the Victorian Heritage Register and refers the Recommendation and submissions to Kingston City Council for consideration for an amendment to the Kingston Planning Scheme.

The Former Factory, Office and Residence of TW Sherrin

After considering the Executive Director’s recommendation, pursuant to section 49(1)(b) of the Heritage Act 2017, the Heritage Council has determined that the Former Factory, Office and Residence of TW Sherrin is not of cultural heritage significance to the State of Victoria and is not to be included in the Victorian Heritage Register. The Heritage Council has also determined to refer the Executive Director’s recommendation to Yarra City Council for consideration of inclusion of the place in the Heritage Overlay of the Yarra Planning Scheme, pursuant to section 49(1)(c)(i) of the Heritage Act 2017.

After considering the Executive Director’s recommendations and all submissions received in response to them and after conducting a hearing into those submissions, pursuant to s.265 of the Heritage Act 2017 and s.42(1)(a) and s.42(4) of the Heritage Act 1995, the Heritage Council has determined that the Brighton Bathing Boxes and Dendy Street Beach are of cultural heritage significance to the State of Victoria and should be included in the Victorian Heritage Register.
