This year’s annual Heritage Address, part of Australian Heritage Week, will be held on Thursday 21 April featuring Museums Victoria CEO Dr J. Patrick Greene.
The 2016 Heritage Address at Melbourne Museum from 6 pm, will describe “A Heritage Journey in Three Chapters”.
Patrick will examine the role of Heritage through the lens of three major projects in which he has played a lead role – Norton Priory in Cheshire, UK; the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, UK, and Museum Victoria. He will describe some of the factors that have influenced his approach to Heritage projects and lessons learnt on his journey of three chapters.
The Address will also feature the Ray Tonkin Heritage Volunteer Award.
