The modernister delivers powerful Heritage Address

Tim Ross delivered a passionate and powerful Heritage Address to a packed house at Deakin Edge, Federation Square last night.

He gave us a refreshing take on the importance of Modernism and Brutalism explaining how he grew up surrounded by some of the best examples of Modernist homes in Australia in the outer suburbs of Melbourne in the 1970s.

We heard about the amazing Save our Sirius campaign and how Tim and his friends changed a city’s mind on the importance of this building through creative thinking and storytelling.

The Heritage Council would like to thank Tim Ross and Open House Melbourne for a fantastic Heritage Address 2018.
