Melbourne Day is 30 August. Heritage Council Chair Stuart Macintyre will be reflecting on Marvelous Melbourne at the RACV club on the eve of Melbourne Day celebrations this year. He will compare the rapid growth of the city in the late 19th century to today’s boom and ask what did we make of the opportunities then and now?
